What is BA finish stainless steel?
BA (Bright annealed), is a specific surface finish which is produces by the mills for cold-rolled stainless steels,
mainly for the grades AISI 304 and AISI 316 and in thicknesses up to a maximum of 3.0 mm. During its production,
the stainless steel is annealed in an inert gas atmosphere after cold rolling.
What is stronger hot or cold rolled steel?
In terms of physical characteristics, cold rolled steels are typically harder and stronger than standard hot rolled
steels. As the metal is shaped at the lower temperatures, the steel's hardness, resistance against tension breaking,
and resistance against deformation are all increased due to work hardening.
