What is galvanized steel coil used for?
The galvanized steel coil that most construction workers use is often found in roofing applications. There, it is used as
a protective cover or barrier over ridges and valleys in the roof system.
What is the difference between Aluzinc and galvanized?
There is a visible difference between the two as an aluminum-zinc alloy metal appears to almost have a matte finish.
Galvanized metal corrodes linearly, and eventually, the zinc coating is completely depleted, whereas an aluminum-zinc
alloy experiences some corrosion, but on a smaller and less significant scale.
What is Z275 steel?
The specifications Z275 and Z600 refer to the zinc coating, measured in grams of zinc or aluminium/zinc per square metre.
This measurement is the total coating mass on both sides of the steel.
