What is stainless steel sheet used for?

What is hairline stainless steel?
The hairline finish is a design finish in which the surface of the metal has a straight line of hair, like
the straight hair of a long woman. This hairline finish is a general-purpose design finish that has been
used for a long time. The standard stainless steel hairline finish on the market is #180 to #240.
Is 316 or 304 stainless steel better?
Though the stainless steel 304 alloy has a higher melting point, grade 316 has a better resistance to
chemicals and chlorides (like salt) than grade 304 stainless steel. When it comes to applications with
chlorinated solutions or exposure to salt, grade 316 stainless steel is considered superior.
